Study on Performance Evaluation and Optimization Strategy of Industrial Poverty Alleviation in Fuping County based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

Abstract

Industrial poverty alleviation is an important means to achieve the goal of targeted poverty alleviation, and a significant approach to realize stable poverty alleviation for the poor. General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to industrial poverty alleviation and has given important instructions on industrial poverty alleviation at many conferences. Industrial poverty alleviation, as a fundamental strategy for poverty governance at source, long-term poverty eradication, stable poverty alleviation and sustainable poverty elimination, is the most important content of China's "Five Batches" poverty alleviation project and a key initiative to address the development capacity of poor people with working ability, as well as the focus and difficulty of poverty relief and development in China at the present stage.

This paper takes Fuping County, Hebei Province, China as a case study, adopts a combination of questionnaire survey and analytic hierarchy process to conduct an in-depth analysis of the performance of industrial poverty alleviation in Fuping County, and carries out strategy optimization for existing problems in four dimensions: economic performance, social performance, ecological performance and work performance.
