Abstract

In this paper, different types of radial tires are selected for force hammer percussion test. Through the test data of tire cavity mode, the influencing factors of the cavity mode such as tire pressure, size and pattern are analyzed. Based on the two-dimensional analysis of the cavity cross-sections of different types of radial tires, a new idea of calculating the cavity mode from the cross-sectional data is proposed, and the empirical formula of the cavity mode is optimized. Fit the cavity modal optimization formula with the independent variables of tire radius, width and height, and select the test modal data of four other radial tires to verify the accuracy of the optimization formula. The results show that the calculation error of the cavity mode is small, and the calculation accuracy is greatly improved compared with the traditional empirical formula.
