Abstract

Based on survey datafrom383growers in Jiangxi Gannan, the paper uses anon-parametric propensity score matching to focus on the impact of fertilization behavior and pest control behavior adopted by farmers’ pollution-free technology on pre-production, mid-production, post-production the quality and safety control of Gannan navel oranges. The results show that the adoption of pollution-free technology has a positive effect on the quality and safety control of Gannan navel orange. Balanced fertilization, understanding of pesticide classification and agricultural records have a significant impact on the quality and safety control of Gannan navel orange. Therefore, In order to ensure the long-term and effective control of the quality and safety of Gannan navel oranges, the government department should steadily promote the use of pollution-free planting technologies through technical training and improving service levels, while vigorously enhance farmers' awareness of quality control and technology adoption.
