Abstract

The high-performance ferrocement laminate (HPFL)-bonded steel joint reinforced concrete column has been recently developed, and its carrying capacity and anti-deformation capacity have been verified through experiments and applications. In order to widely use the reinforcement method, in order to better understand the force performance of the reinforcement members under the reinforcement method, this paper put forward the stress–strain relationship curve of the composite column according to the Mander and Park model. The rationality of the curve was verified in two ways. First, the finite element software ANSYS was used to simulate a test model to obtain the stress-strain curve. Second, curves of the stress and strain were obtained from experimental data. The constitutive relation of the composite materials was shown to match the stress-strain relationship proposed in this paper.
