Abstract

Scientific fitness is conducive to improve health, because though health consciousness and fitness participation rates have increased, blind and random fitness habits, lack of scientific basis and other phenomena remain. At present, research on scientific fitness focuses mainly on the allocation of fitness resources, the teaching of fitness methods and so on, and studies on the Internal Factors of scientific fitness are relatively limited. Gene theory provides a new perspective for the study of the Internal Factors of scientific fitness. By analysing similarities between the internal factor system and gene system, the necessity and feasibility of applying gene theory to the study of the internal factor system of scientific fitness are justified. The concept of a scientific fitness gene is presented, and the idea of scientific fitness gene expression and regulation is established through empirical research. This study concludes that health promotion can be achieved by improving scientific fitness knowledge, scientific fitness attitudes and scientific fitness habits or by enhancing scientific fitness skills and promoting scientific fitness attitudes, thereby promoting health. This finding opens up a new path for the research of scientific fitness.
